just got back from the praries again.

bought a new radar detector for the trip.

cause mom told me to drive safe.

matt came along this time.

so did chisai.

the drive tired me out

so i only saw my family for about 20 minutes

before passing out in okee for the rest of the night

three days driving

20 minutes visiting

then another three days driving

 

i crashed into a yellow post in a mcdonalds drive through lane.

i thought the damage was mostly on the post.

but okee got a couple of oowwiees too.

oops.

i finally watched the godfather today.

ive owned it for a couple years

but never had the chance to watch it

i read it years ago

and still think that the book was better

but maybe thats cause i found the book in an alley

with an old five dollar bill stuck between the pages

and i thought it was a true story

right up until the horse head

but i watched it - all.

i just woke up fomr talkinga na ativan earl;ioer

so it kinda a miracle that my head is vertical at all

but i want an ice cap

and the last ten requests ive made for one have fallen throew

so i have showes on and i am going to stumble oup the hill

and hopefully return with an ice dcaop

i just woke up on the couch

my back hurts

i guess ill go back to bed

even though it looks like it might be sunny outside

i dont really care about much right now

since there is not really much to care about

i guess ill back to back to bed now

or monday morning

i've been zzzzz since about 6am

which was 22 hours ago

i guess its my natural reaction

when things go wrong

try to zzzzz it off

it has never worked

except when its my temper

but then its usually too late

anyway

chisai woke me up

by standing on my chest

and licking my face

maybe she's learning faster than i am

that being nice

usually gets you what you want

faster and easier

than clawing somebodys eyes out.

i was going to go to kelowna this weekend to hang out with my sister cindy and her family

my dad was going to drive down and meet us there as well

but dad had to work (that kind of thing really annoys my sisters but i understand it perfectly)

so i'm not going to go either

because i am going to see everyone (except him) at my cousins wedding on august 23

there is a full moon party on the island near ucluelet next weekend

then home and then off to saskatchewan on thursday

matt says he'll come along

yippee!

maybe chisai too!

she has to check her schedule though.

returning home on monday or tuesday

then its labour day weekend

i hope its sunny for the rest of the month

cause i really like my kayak

somewhere in between all that i guess i gotta work a bit

but then again

actually no

i will need to squeeze it in a bit

i bought a new paddle today from mec for my kayak

so maybe ill make it to tokyo afterall!

in the past month i have lost a set of okee's keys in the ocean
i have left the keys in the ignition and locked the doors
with me on the outside
and gotten okee towed
for parking on granville between
the hours of three pm and six pm

 

maybe its time to dig that really big hole...

i walked by the holt renfrew on granville yesterday

i dont really go in that place anymore

especially at three in the morning

and since they keep sending creditors after me

its just not the same warm fuzzy place it once was

but it was on my way somewhere last night

and i glanced in the window

it caught my eye

the answer to every fashion question

ive never had

against the stark white backdrop

with splashes of the new black

which happen to be red this season

it seemed so out of place

and yet

in its home

(sidenote - it is rare that i am without some form of evidence making machine

and occasions such as this just make it that much more of a kick in my ass

although i am not a dishonest person i can generally prove almost anything

but this one - well, you're just gonna have to take my word for it)

it was gone

i felt my rodent fear subside a little

the thought of mouseymouse

jumping out of a purse on display

when the latch is demonstrated...

sadly, i read in the paper today

about the fire i witnessed firsthand

the 57 year old lady

that lived in the apartment

died in her sleep

in the living room

with her kitty.

 

news like that

sure melts away

all my petty anger.
